stART on the Street

stART on the Street takes place on Park Avenue from Highland Street to Pleasant Street in the heart of Worcester, MA. If using GPS for directions, use Park Avenue & Highland Street as the destination, as some neighborhood streets will be re-routed during the festival. The festival is nearly 3/4 of a mile long - comfortable shoes and sunblock are highly recommended!

Festival Overview

stART on the Street hosts 250+ artists and crafters displaying and selling their handmade goods in the center of Park Ave, some demonstrating their creative processes throughout the day. You'll also find fencing, belly dancing, capoiera, interactive features for all ages, street performers and more throughout the street. The festival route is lined with area businesses, stores and restaurants. The Highland Street end of the festival is anchored by a variety of food trucks from all around New England. Diners either make use of the tables and chairs in this area, walk the festival as they eat, or take a seat in the shady grass of historic Elm Park. Heading toward Elm Street you'll see several area non-profits on the sidewalk, as well as The Scott Riccuiti Memorial Stage in Elm Park, which traditionally hosts the largest music acts found in the festival. The Elm Street intersection with Park Ave is home to the vegan food court, as well as the Elm Street Stage and its wide variety of local music. More non-profits fill the parking lot of the Cornerstone Bank. Continuing on Park Ave toward Pleasant Street you'll find the Youth Market, where creative kids and teens sell their wares and get exposure to the business side of art. Park Grill and Spirits transforms into an outdoor beer garden with our third stage of curated local music. You'll also find another food court and seating in the parking lot next to El Basha. Public restrooms and stART information booths are placed throughout the festival.
